When having a stove fitted, the engineer should be HETAS (Heating Equipment Testing & Approval Scheme) approved.

Our fitters are, and they will issue you with a HETAS certificate and we will register the work carried out with HETAS. Having a stove fitted by our Company means that you do not need to get Building Regulations to come to inspect it, as we fit to Building Regulations section J, in accordance with HETAS.

As of 01.10.10, regulations specify that solid fuel stoves fitted will need to be HETAS approved or have been tested to BS EN 13240 standards.

We will also now need to fit a Carbon Monoxide detector, when fitting a solid fuel appliance.

We can also supply wood burners, multifuel stoves and gas stoves of all sizes and kW outputs. Please ring us if you have another stove in mind. If you want to purchase your stove elsewhere, that's not a problem, we can fit that for you too.

Please note: when purchasing a wood or multifuel stove, any appliance over 5kW will require a permanently open vent to either an outside wall, through a wooden floor to the air space below. There are also regulations as to the size of the opening where the stove will sit. Current regulations state that there needs to be a minimum of 6" of air space at each side, a minimum of 2" from the back and a minimum of 12" of non-combustible hearth from the glass doors. The only time this could alter is if the manufacturer states different, in which case, we would need written proof for our records.

Please check with your local authority if you are in a smokeless zone and which fuels you are allowed to burn.  There are many stoves that also come with the option of burning approved smokeless fuels.

Some stoves  have the option of having a back boiler, but you would need to employ the services of a plumber to connect it up.

We also have a wide selection of other stove brochures, just ring now for more details, up-to-date prices & delivery times.

Look out for the '' logo which indicates British made stoves.
